Metz, France – On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the Grand Est Region, in collaboration with the Constellations Festival, successfully hosted a symposium as part of the Rencontres Internationales de la Culture, de la Connaissance et de l’Immersif (RICCI) at Bliiida in Metz. The event focused on “Digital Artistic and Cultural Projects – Creativity, Transmission, and Mediation.”
Aimed at professionals in the cultural and artistic sectors, including festivals, events, local authorities, cultural venues, artists, and creative organizations, the symposium offered a day packed with insightful conferences, presentations, and a visit to the festival in Metz.
The event showcased a diverse range of feedback from both local and international authorities, cultural venues, and festivals dedicated to creating and disseminating digital artistic and cultural experiences.
A highlight of the symposium was the morning presentation of the IMPULSE project under the topic “Adapting Digital Arts Education to the Impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence and Sustaining/Regenerating the Arts and Digital Creativity.” This presentation included feedback from two European programs: the IMPULSE project and the European project Cyanotypes.
