What
The IMPULSE Final Conference marks the culmination of three years of collaboration, experimentation, and innovation at the intersection of cultural heritage, education, and immersive technologies. Hosted by the University of Bologna, the two-day event brings together researchers, cultural heritage professionals, educators, artists, technologists, and policymakers to reflect on the project’s achievements and explore future opportunities for Digital Cultural Heritage.
More than a traditional conference, the event is designed as a space for dialogue. Through keynote talks, thematic roundtables, live demonstrations, exhibitions, and artistic performances, participants will engage with key challenges surrounding the communication, preservation, creation, archiving, and educational use of digital cultural heritage. The conference will also showcase the outcomes of the IMPULSE pre-hackathons, hackathons, residencies, and prototype cases, highlighting how collaborative and immersive approaches can generate new forms of cultural engagement. By bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise, the event aims to foster lasting connections, inspire cross-disciplinary innovation, and support the continued exploitation and impact of IMPULSE results beyond the project’s lifetime.
Online Participation
While in-person attendance is by invitation only, the event will be open to the international community via a live stream on Youtube.
