On April 8th and 9th, the IMPULSE project took part in the EUScreen Symposium 2026: Reframing Openness: Empowering Authenticity and Reuse in Audiovisual Heritage, held in Warsaw, Poland.
The event was dedicated to discussing a critical question: How can film and audiovisual heritage institutions preserve authenticity of archives and collections while embracing openness, innovation, and reuse in a fast-evolving social and technological landscape?
IMPULSE Project Coordinator, Dr. Żaneta Żegleń, gave a speech entitled “From Archive to Experience: New Impulses for Reusing Digital Heritage.” She showcased IMPULSE’s immersive solutions, designed to enable reuse of diverse digital collections and redefine how immersive technologies can change the ways in which we interact with cultural heritage.
We thank EUscreen Foundation and Filmoteka Narodowa – Instytut Audiowizualny (FINA) for hosting the event.
